Do I require training to operate elevated work platforms?

The simple answer is YES! Here at Platinum Safety and Training, we make it easy when it comes to helping you decide what training you need in order to maintain a safe and compliant workplace!

As per legislation (law), the work health and safety act 2011 and regulations 2017, states all employers and employees have a duty of care to either eliminate or control potential hazards and risks within the workplace at all times. The hazard of height can be a major concern within many industries and unfortunately, is the cause of a high number of serious injuries and also workplace fatalities.

A common control measure and also a preferred method is install or utilise a fall prevention device. The elevated work platform is a perfect example of this and great way to achieve access and carry out safe work practices while working at height.

Platinum Safety’s training course Operate Elevating Work Platform, will assist workers to achieve the required skills and knowledge to maintain a high safety standard within the height industry. We are an accredited training provider for the Elevating Work Platform Association (EWPA). All students will receive a photo ID Yellow card.
