Forklift Training - National High Risk Work Licence
Earn a National High Risk Work Licence (Class LF) for forklifts by completing our Forklift Training Course, which covers all of the eligibility requirements. On successfully completion of this course, you will be able to drive any type of forklift inside Australia, including counterbalance, reach trucks, and high reach forklifts.
Course Content
The Forklift Training course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Key areas include:
- Plan Operations: Hazard management and consultation.
- Pre-operational Inspections: Inspecting the forklift and associated equipment.
- Shift Loads: Lifting at varying heights and travelling through obstacles.
- Conclude Operations: Parking, securing the equipment, and following site-specific procedures.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
- Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Language Proficiency: Speak and understand English at a level to be able to participate in the training and assessment.

- Able to produce and meet the evidence of identity criteria as per SafeWork / WorkSafe identification requirements. - 100 points of I.D

Certification and Outcomes Participants who successfully complete the course will receive:
- Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency: TLILIC0003: Licence to operate a forklift truck
- Students will be eligible to apply for A High-Risk Work Licence (Class LF) will be issued through SafeWork NSW
