What is Dogging?

Dogging uses slinging techniques are the key to efficiently moving loads with cranes.

One important aspect is choosing the right lifting equipment and making sure it is in good condition and suitable for the job at hand. In addition to operating cranes, dogging also involves the crucial task of guiding crane operators when they cannot see the load, ensuring that load handling is both safe and efficient.

The dogger is responsible for calculating safe angles for slings or chains, selecting the appropriate type of sling or chain, and determining the safest method to lift or turn the load. This crucial position is responsible for maintaining the security and reliability of load movements at construction sites.
