UETTDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live LV panel with HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

 

The unit of competency UETTDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live LV panel, covers rescue procedures from low voltage apparatus, not including overhead power lines or underground cables. It also covers legislative requirements, hazard and risk management and relevant Personal protective equipment and equipment.

This additional unit HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, provides the skills and knowledge to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. It is designed for workers in any industry that may require the skill of CPR.

Successful completion of this training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:

HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
UETTDRRF06 – Perform rescue from a live LV panel

Note:

The unit of competency – UETTDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live LV panel must be renewed every 12 months as per industry standards.

The unit of competency – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is recommended to be renewed every 12 months.

Course consists of both theory and practical, including theory and practical assessments.

  • Full course: 5 hrs face-to-face
