Low voltage rescue &
CPR training (LVR/CPR)
The unit of competency UETTDRRF06 Preform rescue from a live LV panel, covers rescue procedures from low voltage apparatus, not including overhead power lines or underground cables. It also covers legislative requirements, hazard and risk management and relevant Personal protective equipment and equipment.
This additional unit HLTAID001 Preform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, provides the skills and knowledge to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. It is designed for workers in any industry that may require the skill of CPR.
There is no prerequisite to this course
Successful completion of this training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:
HLTAID001 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
UETTDRRF06 – Preform rescue from a live LV panel
Note: This unit of competency must be renewed every 12 months as per industry standards.
Course consists of both theory and practical, including theory and practical assessments.
- Full course: 5 hrs face-to-face
- Full course: pre-course study (1.5 hrs) + 3.5 hrs face-to-face
- Refresher course: 3.5 hrs face-to-face
